AUSTIN, TX - Zyntropics (www.zyntropics.com) is producing a cross
cultural cyber novella that's being delivered on the Internet and to mobile
devices. Alamo Heights SA follows
the lives of two families, one in San Antonio, TX, and their manufacturing
counterpart in Monterrey, Mexico. The show (www.alamoheightsSA.com) is shot in both English and Spanish and uses
product placement and brand integration technology in place of traditional
commercial support.

The team developed 40 four-act episodes with
a duration of 7-9 minutes each, all being produced at a budget of just over $1
million. In addition to IPTV, digital cable, podcast and mobile TV distribution
methods, the episodes will also be available on terrestrial television station
group LAT TV (LatinAmerica Broadcasting, Inc.) and multiple ad-supported
Internet networks, including Brightcove, Guba, VEOH and Kiptronic.
The first 12 episodes are being released
through December 20th, with a tie-in to a fictitious line of
lingerie featured in the series — hauT'amales — and the real manufacturer's
online store, yumdrop.com.
The shows are being shot in 1080/24p allowing
for HD and SD viewing through an IPTV provider or on future DVD release.
