HPA TO PRESENT AWARDS NOV. 12
 
LOS ANGELES - The 2009 Hollywood Post Alliance Awards will take place tomorrow, November 12th, honoring excellence in the art & science of post production. The awards will be presented at a gala at the Los Angeles Skirball Cultural Center.

The Charles S. Swartz Award will be presented to Ben Burtt for his contributions to a number of iconic and Oscar-winning films. Paul Haggar will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award, honoring his service and commitment to the field of post production. Haggar headed post production at Paramount for nearly two decades.

And Engineering Excellence Awards will be presented to DVS Digital Video Systems for its Clipster; Signiant for its content distribution management solution; and S. two Corporation for its OB-1 uncompressed digital recorder.
