AVID TO EXHIBIT AT NAB 2009

After sitting out last year's NAB show in Las Vegas, Avid (www.avid.com) has committed to booth space in the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center during NAB 2009. While the company confirms that they will indeed exhibit at the show, they aren't ready to comment on their plans.

Since the company's decision to sit out NAB 2008, they underwent a management change, adding CEO Gary Greenfield and VP/GM Kirk Arnold.

The NAB, for one, is happy.

"We're extremely pleased to welcome Avid back to the exhibit floor. Having a major content player like Avid on the Show floor speaks volumes about the value of the NAB Show," says Kris Jones, director, media relations, for NAB.

"In times of economic uncertainty, the NAB Show is one of those must-attend events where exhibiting companies can leverage their participation to reach executive-level attendees with buying power. For companies looking to have a successful 2009, there is no better return on investment than the NAB Show."
