SIGGRAPH: IMT HOSTS 3D SUMMIT
 
LOS ANGELES – System integrator Integrated Media Technologies (www.imtglobalinc.com) hosted a 3D Summit at SIGGRAPH 2010. The event was co-sponsored by Atempo, Isilon and Southpaw, and offered insight into how to best strategize for the various 3D markets, including feature films, sporting events, TV, Internet and mobile programming.

The event looked at the challenges of lighting live 3D events, editing 3D productions and digital storage. It was introduced by IMT's CEO Bruce Lyon, organized by executive VP/sales Mike Braico, and moderated by CTO Rob Kobrin. The panel included: David Kenneth, executive producer at I.E. Effects; John Rubey, president of AEG Network Live; Wayne Miller, president/CCO of Action 3D; Jonathan Dern, president and co-founder of Cinedigm and SD Entertainment; and Anthony Lopez, director of information technology at Legend 3D.
