ARTESIA, TELESTREAM HELP BBDO NEW YORK GO TAPELESS

ROCKVILLE, MD - Digital asset management provider Artesia Technologies (www.artesia.com) and media encoding and delivery solutions provider Telestream (www.telestream.net) have partnered to implement a new digital media management and workflow automation system for BBDO New York.

Eliminating the need for tape libraries, the system encompasses brand assets and other rich media for the agency's TV, radio, online and print campaigns and allows users throughout the company to work from their desktops in the review, production and distribution of ads. Post houses can now encode and submit content digitally to BBDO via Telestream's ClipFactory Pro, where it will be automatically captured by Telestream's FlipFactory server and transcoded into QuickTime, DV, Avid and MPEG formats.

Once captured, the Artesia TEAMS digital asset management solution provides BBDO with online access via centrally managed repository to these videos. TEAMS also allows users to edit, transform and distribute these assets from their desktop.

"Over the past year, BBDO New York has embarked on a major effort to lower costs while providing faster, easier access to our content," said Dennis Pannuto, Chief Information Officer for BBDO North America. "BBDO's new digital workflow integration will create savings and revenue opportunities at different points throughout the production and distribution cycle for us and our clients. It also has the potential to help our clients better manage their businesses by providing easier access to all of their advertising campaign materials."
