October 28 - HOLLYWOOD- Encore Hollywood (www.encorehollywood.com), an Ascent Media Company, has hired colorist Laura Jans-Fazio. She spent six years on staff at Company 3, Santa Monica, where she worked on a broad cross section of national commercial and music video accounts. Her latest credits include spots for Nike, Mini Cooper, Gold's Gym and Nissan Sentra.
Prior to that she spent seven years on staff at 525 Post Production in Hollywood. Her work there included many classic music video clips including Sugar Ray, Smashmouth, Wyclef Jean and The Straycats.
Born in Kalamazoo, MI, and raised in New York City, Jans-Fazio began her career with PBS station WNYC. She became a colorist at DuArt Video, worked at NVI and Post Perfect, where she facilitated clients such as MTV, Nickelodeon and HBO. In 1992, she relocated to Los Angeles.
