JANIMATION CREATES TRAILER FOR MIDWAY'S 'AREA 51' VIDEOGAME
September 29, 2004

DALLAS - Janimation, here, recently completed work on its first cinematic trailer for Midway Home Entertainment's new videogame, "Area 51." The trailer, conceived by agency Fail+Safe Creative, was shown at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) and has generated a buzz for the game, which is scheduled for release in October.

The two minute and 15 second piece begins with a high-tech look inside the "Area 51" compound. A voiceover delivered by one of the doctors at the site details the work going on there. Concurrently, flashes of these experiments on both aliens and humans reveal science gone wrong and all hell breaking loose.

Greg Punchatz directed the project for Janimation (www.janimation.com). Steve Gaconnier executive produced. Pete Herzog was visual effects producer.

John Dennis at The Sound Spot provided music and sound design. Wren Walters at Brass Knuckles Editorial cut the project.
