MAXELL TO SHOW HIGH SPEED DVD-R PLUS SERIES AT NAB

FAIR LAWN, NJ - Maxell Corporation of America (www.maxell.com) is bringing its new DVD-R Plus Series of recordable DVDs to this year's NAB show in Las Vegas. Designed for the demands of the professional broadcast industry, the 4.7GB discs support 8X write speeds and have a pre-recorded shelf life and archive life of more than 50 years.

Maxell uses a proprietary organic dye recording layer material in the DVD-R Plus Series to help ensure high-quality recording and noise-free playback. The discs are write-compatible with most manufacturers' general purpose DVD-R drives and recorders. After recording, the discs are read compatible with DVD-ROM, DVD-Video and DVD-Audio players.
