SOLID GRAY CREATES HISTORIC BILTMORE DVD
November 12, 2004

LOS ANGELES, CA - Solid Gray Interactive Interactive (www.solidgrayinc.com), an interactive multimedia production company, is developing a DVD of the historic Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles. The marketing DVD includes all the detailed information about the hotel and also delves into its rich past. The DVD is divided into six sections with each dedicated to a different aspect of the hotel.

One section entitled "History" incorporates footage from A&E's "The Grand Tour - Legendary Resorts of the World." Solid Gray also produced a video pictorial using archival photos of the hotel set to classical music chronicling the first 75 years of its existence. Photos show the long list of celebrities that have graced the hallways and bedrooms, including Gary Cooper, Clark Gable, Bette Davis and Ginger Rogers, as well as political figures like John F. Kennedy and Ronald Reagan.

In the "Hotel Overview" section of the DVD there is an "At the Movies" portion that highlights the many films and TV series that have been shot at the hotel. These including "New York, New York," "Rocky III" and "Spider-Man."

Other features give the user a 360-degree view of rooms and banquet halls. Video portions were edited with Apple Final Cut Pro 4 and authoring was completed using DVD Studio Pro, all running on Mac PowerBook G4s.
