SEATTLE - Victory Studios (www.victorystudios.com) developed the new broadcast graphics package for KSTW-TV, Seattle's UPN 11. Described as a "full-blown image package," the many elements include new 3D animation of the UPN 11 station logo and a variety of endplates, lower-thirds and standalone graphics for use by the station for program tune-in promos, branding elements and station ID's.

Victory Studios VFX designers Gernot Kalcher and Joshua Downs created new ways to reveal and animate the station's logo giving the elements an elegant and appealing style to showcase the many diverse programs in the station's lineup. The centerpiece of the logo animation is a progression of revolving rings that highlight and reveal various logo elements.

The package was developed using a combination of design tools, including Adobe Photoshop, Alias Maya 3D and Discreet Combustion.
