AUTOMATIC DUCK INTEGRATES TIMELINES FOR SOUND DESIGNERS
April 19, 2005
LAS VEGAS - Automatic Duck, the creators of Timeline Integration Engine software for digital media artists, has come up with timeline integration solutions for users of both Adobe Premiere Pro and Apple's Final Cut Pro.

Automatic Duck's Pro Export PPro is capable of exporting audio files created in Premiere Pro directly into Digidesign Pro Tools. The company's aim was to end the frustration of sound designers who needed to share audio files and visual media between disparate design systems, according to Wes Plate, president of Automatic Duck (www.automaticduck.com). Pro Export PPro V.1.0 enables digital media artists to send OMF files with embedded audio from Premiere Pro into Pro Tools while maintaining audio gain information, including key frames.

Similarly, Automatic Duck's Pro Export FCP V.3.0 allows digital media artists to send their OMF files with embedded audio from Final Cut Pro directly to Pro Tools for sound design. Plate says the software packages will sell for under $500.
