BORIS DEBUTS NEW VERSIONS OF SOFTWARE PACKAGES
April 20, 2005
LAS VEGAS - Boris FX has updates for two of its software packages. FX 8.0 is now available and "dramatically expands the compositing and effects capabilities of more than 20 NLEs," says company founder/president Boris Yamnitsky, who notes that the update includes new filters for motion tracking and stabilizing.

The company has also released Graffiti 4.0, a plug-in that provides integrated broadcast-quality 2D and 3D titling features directly inside nonlinear editing systems. The upgrade increases rendering speeds by an average of 75 percent on Macintosh and 25 percent on Windows systems.
