NEW YORK - Full service post and design house Broadway Video (www.broadwayvideo.com) has made several additions to the creative and operations staff of its Video Services Group.
Mark Repasky recently joined the Video Services Group, bringing with him skills on Discreet Inferno and Smoke, as well as Avid's DS Nitris editor. Repasky will work across several platforms, from creative offline editorial to design, animation, compositing and finishing. His credits include work for ABC, Showtime, Lifetime and VH1 as a freelance editor and Inferno artist.
Freddy Garcia joins Broadway Video as a staff editor, having previously worked at Image Group Post. There he worked with numerous recording labels and artists on high profile music videos, including Ja Rule's "New York." He also cut Benzino's "Wide Body" music video, and edited "And the Nominees Are?", an hour-long Oscar special that aired on A&E.
Alexandra Perez has been promoted to the newly-created position of director of client services for the Video Services Group. In her new role she will have responsibility for all non-technical client services. Perez will work to develop seamless client services for Broadway Video's cross-divisional clients and coordinate the sharing of resources between divisions. She was most recently project manager in the duplication division.
And Kim Caffiero joins Broadway Video as director of operations for the Video Services Group. She will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of scheduling, client services and the support staff of the editorial division. Caffiero comes to Broadway Video after holding similar positions at Image Editorial and National Video Center.
