FT. LAUDERDALE, FL - EA Sports called on Collegiate Images to source and provide copyright and trademark licensing required for college football footage that?s used on the menu boards throughout its new video game, "NCAA Football 06." The Collegiate Images footage enhances the game's menu screen and adds to the title's authentic college feel.
"The EA Sports request resulted in hours of intense research for the CI production team," notes Jack Heilig, Collegiate Image's VP of partner relations and operations. "Our producers reviewed hundreds of hours of content from our existing footage library and our partner relations staff reached out to our roster of schools, conferences and bowl games to bring in additional content to fit EA's needs."
"CI's library of footage was able to provide us with the exact content needed," says Tom Renedo, EA Sports licensing manager. "CI was able to listen to our ideas and in turn send us the correct footage to review, creating a seamless process of acquiring footage."
