EDITOR DAVID CHECEL JOINS CUT + RUN

SANTA MONICA - Editor David Checel, known for his work in the commercial, music video, television and film arenas, has joined editorial house Cut + Run (www.cutandrun.tv). Based out of the studio's Los Angeles office, Checel will be available for projects through the company's New York and London locations, too.

Checel's career started and developed at Filmcore, where he edited spots for the likes of Mastercard, ESPN Sportscenter, Nike, Diet Coke, Target and Budweiser. In the area of music videos, Checel is a frequent collaborator with The Brothers Strauss and Bryan Barber. He garnered attention for his contribution to the barber-helmed Outkast video "Hey Ya" and its follow-up "Roses." He has also cut videos for Eminem, Missy Elliot, Black Eyed Peas, Nickelback and Linkin Park.

Checel recently completed a new spot for Gatorade via Element 79, and is currently cutting the music sequences for a new Outkast film.
