EDITOR SYLVETTE ARTINIAN NAMES WILD(CHILD) EAST COAST REP
December 14, 2005

“The quick timeframe of commercials is what makes them such an exciting arena for telling stories,” says Artinian. “I feel extremely blessed to be able to bring versatility to the format. Whenever I work with a different director I welcome the challenge of developing a different style to complement their unique vision, whether the commercial’s genre is comedy, action/adventure, drama or beyond.”

Artinian says she regularly finds inspiration in the footage and storylines of the spots she cuts. “If I get a project with a lot of footage, I love finding the little diamonds that bring everything together,” she notes. “I also like bringing out the full emotion of what’s been shot. If it’s a humorous spot, for instance, I enjoy using cuts to underscore the comedy that the director has captured.”
