EDITORS' LOUNGE TO DEMO MEDIA 100 HD NLE THIS FRIDAY

BURBANK, CA - AlphaDogs, which hosts the monthly Editor's Lounge at its Burbank facility, has announced plans for the Friday's event. Video editor and post production expert J.P. Cardosa will demo a new HD system from Media 100. Cardosa is manager of the Field Application Specialist Team at Media 100. He is also a professor of video post production at Boston University, and is an editor as well.
The Media 100 HD nonlinear editing system is designed and tuned for the Power Mac G5, giving editors affordable, flexible support for HD and SD applications in a single 10-bit editing system.
The Editors? Lounge will take place at 6:30 pm on Friday, February 25, and is open to all editors. The gatherings provide an informal environment for discussion, and allow editors to have their questions addressed objectively - without a sales pitch.
