PALO ALTO, CA - Euphonix (www.euphonix.com) has appointed Russell Waite to the position of executive vice president of worldwide sales. Waite previously held the position of VP of international sales, working out of the company's London office. He will now be based in Palo Alto and will oversee Euphonix's sales teams throughout the world.

Waite and his international sales team have been credited with raising Euphonix's profile internationally and concluding several major sales which include Hong Kong Movie City in Hong Kong, Pinewood Shepperton in the UK and Canal+ in France. Prior to joining the company in 2001, Waite served as a European sales manager for AMS Neve and as a technical planning engineer at Siemens AG Austria. He holds a music industry arts diploma with a major in recording engineering from Fanshawe College of Applied Arts and Technology, and a BA in economics from the University of Western Ontario.
