Post Magazine
August 22, 2005

The tool has been built as a "64-bit ready" application and includes a number of new features and workflow enhancements.

New realtime waveform, vectorscope and histogram displays are now included for helping to meet broadcast standards. Direct importing and compatibility with leading 3D applications has been added, allowing parameters of cameras and scenes to exist inside Fusion. This includes support for Maya, LightWave 3D, Max and XSI.

Fusion can now import FBX files directly, creating a matching composition with animated lights and cameras drawn straight from the FBX file. Bins have been moved to the network allowing other artists to view and update them. And a comments tab allows artists to make notes on composites and log their development.
