GURU GROWS, ADDING TALENT AND REPRESENTATION

Amy Robson joins the studio as senior producer. She previously served at the London-based Machine, where she supervised the delivery of more than 50 effects shots for "Harry Potter: Prisoner of Azkaban." There, Robson also worked on feature films for the European market. Prior to her time at Machine, Robson spent four years at Eye, also in London, overseeing 3D animation for commercials and music videos.

Mark Cutler joins Guru as art director. He worked with Guru founder Frank Falcone at Toronto's Topix, where Falcone was animation director. While at Topix, Cutler collaborated with Falcone on a spot for Comdisco and also directed two music videos for Canadian artists Sloan and The Flashing Lights.

The animation studio has also brought two new commercial reps on board. Blah Blah Blah will represent the studio on the East Coast, while The Candy Store will represent them in the Midwest. The company is currently wrapping up work on a four-spot campaign for Teletoon network's "The Detour" programming block.
