ISILON TURBO CHARGES CLUSTERED STORAGE WITH IQ ACCELERATOR

The IQ Accelerator is designed to work with Isilon's IQ 1920, 3000, 4800 and 6000 clustered storage systems. With the new Isilon IQ Accelerator, customers can more than double the performance of their data storage, scaling up to 6 gigabytes per second of total aggregate throughput from a single file system. IQ Accelerator, coupled with Isilon's OneFS distributed file system, uses the company's next-generation Dynamic Performance Acceleration (DPA) software to turbo-charges data storage performance on the fly in :15 , with no manual provisioning or system downtime. The IQ Accelerator is currently in testing and will be generally available in Q1 2006.
