KONAN SHOWS CUSTOMIZABLE MAM SYSTEM

April 19 - LAS VEGAS - Korean media asset management company Konan Digital (www.konandigital.com) is here at the NAB show with DigitalArc, a solution aimed at transforming the workflow and operations of productions facilities and news operations.

DigitalArc allows production houses to either replace their entire infrastructure all at once with a fully file-based digital MAM-centric environment or integrate one or more standalone DigitalArc components to improve specific workflow processes used to manage the complete lifecycle of assets.

DigitalArc incorporates an open standards architecture to broaden third-party compatibility while eliminating interoperability issues, along with a scalable componentized architecture that grows as the user's needs grow.

"Third-party support is always a strong validation and our NAB demonstration showcases newsroom and production application solutions that are fully integrated and interoperable with products from Avid, GVG, Front Porch and Xytech Systems," says Richard Eberhart, Konan's new VP of Americas/Europe. Eberhart knows about asset management. He founded the Global Society for Asset Management (GSAM).
