MEDIA 100 UPGRADES HD NLE WITH V.10.1 RELEASE

MARLBORO, MA - Media 100 (www.media100.com) has released Version 10.1 software for its Media 100 HD NLE. The new release expands the editor to include a new Media 100 software codec and other key enhancements that make the 10-bit, uncompressed, Mac-based system more powerful for projects that use HD, SD, or need realtime mixing of different codecs in the same timeline.

Key features associated with the new release include support for a new Media 100 software codec that provides a fast way for pros using Adobe After Effects and other third-party applications to render out QuickTimes to drop into a Media 100 HD project. QuickTime V Out support makes quick previews possible using Media 100 hardware to play back any QuickTime movie on an NTSC, PAL or HD monitor, while still working inside After Effects or other related applications. HD playback improvements enable realtime HD playback for flip, flop and color effects using a draft mode for capturing or viewing HD. Version 10.1 software will be available this month.
