NEW YORK CINE EQUIPMENT SHOW COMING THIS SEPTEMBER

June 13, 2005
NEW YORK CINE EQUIPMENT SHOW COMING THIS SEPTEMBER NEW YORK - Trerotoli & Associates, Inc., has launched a new motion picture trade show called "The New York Cine Equipment Show." Scheduled to take place on September 20th and 21st, the show will be held at the New York Hilton Hotel. The New York Cine Equipment Show will focus on all aspects of motion picture equipment, goods, services and post production. Attendees will be able to view exhibits for free.

Trerotoli & Associates was formed by pros, who've been actively involved in the motion picture industry. Show director/founder Mike Trerotoli has been working for the ASC for over ten years and says: "Our goal is to keep a close focus on who's attending and participating in the show. We will make sure that our show will provide the quality exhibitors and visitors expect. We teamed up with organizations such as the ASC, PERA, Local 600 and 52, AICP etc., in order to create a unified industry event."

A close relationship with the ASC is allowing the show to offer a series of workshops. Scheduled ASC Seminar topics will include: "POV: Show & Tell," "How To Create Artful Movies On a Small Budget," "Lighting Workshop," "Digital Intermediate," "The Evolving Craft of Filmmaking," "Lighting 101 in 16 Square Feet," and "Commercial Production from Concept through Post".

Since the first announcement of the show earlier this year, the event has received support from more than 60 companies. Peter Abel from Abel Cine Tech was one of the first to sign up. "When Mike Trerotoli first contacted us about the concept of an East Coast equipment show with full ASC support behind it, we signed on immediately," says Abel. "The New York film community has been in need of such an event, especially with all the production choices and new technologies that are now available. The timing couldn't be better for the New York Cine Equipment Show to come on the scene."

A cocktail party will be held on the first evening of the show, providing attendees with an opportunity to network with industry peers and prospects. To sign up for the seminars, or for more information, check out the show's Web site at www.nyces.org.
