LONDON - Simon Gosling has joined editorial boutique Cut + Run (www.cutandrun.tv) as managing director of its London office. The facility also has New York and Los Angeles locations. Gosling brings 14 years of post production experience to his new role and will work closely with Cut + Run founder Steve Gandolfi.
Prior to joining Cut + Run, Gosling was director of the commercial effects division of Clear, where he spent two years. He also spent six years at The Moving Picture Company where he held such positions as senior producer and head of new business development. It was at The Moving Picture Company that Gosling first met Cut + Run founder/editor Gandolfi and worked with others from the editorial boutique.
"Simon Gosling has vast experience in the management of production and marketing for large post facilities," says Gandolfi. "I have known Simon for many years. During his six years as senior producer at The Moving Picture Company he has been the post producer on a lot of the jobs that I have edited. I've always been impressed by his efficiency in handling large projects and his calm and friendly nature."
