SOUND FAMILIAR? 'A CURRENT AFFAIR' RETURNS
March 23, 2005
NEW YORK - Principal/composer Peter Fish of Tonic (www.tonic.tv) has created the theme music for the re-incarnation of "A Current Affair," the half-hour news program that makes its return to television tonight. Fish composed music for the show throughout most of its original run, from 1986-96. The new incarnation draws on the last original theme for the long-running show, which was created in 1994.

"It's been completely recreated and updated," says Fish of the theme music. "I've always liked the melody, which is simultaneously organic and electronic. The new take is pretty hot."

"A Current Affair" is hosted by Fox Sports commentator, best-selling author, columnist, lawyer and former NFL player Tim Green. The program will embody the same principles and style that made it a success during its original run.
