Martin (pictured) comes to Splice Here from Jagged Edge, where he spent six years. There, he serviced clients such as Harder-Fuller Films, Great Clips, HOM Furniture, Best Buy and Target.

Splice Here moved into its current facility just two years ago. In addition to Martin, the company recently hired creative editor Michael Sandness, a 13-year veteran who worked primarily on commercials, independent films and documentaries. Sandness specializes in HD and SD editorial, color correction and finishing.

Editor Carl Jacobs joined the studio in June, bringing with him 20 years of experience creating broadcast promos, program packages and film trailers. Designer Aaron Schurman then joined the team in August, having previously run his own design firm, Boywonderdesign. Sam Heyn also joined the studio in August as an assistant editor.

Splice Here is continuing to seek out talent and is currently looking to fill producer and designer positions.
