STEINBRANDING RENEWS COSMO'S IMAGE IN SPAIN
September 13, 2005

The new look targets women without excluding men and is expressed in a joyful, urban, warm and entertaining way. The graphics package's main color palette is burgundy, with transformations into blues, oranges, yellows and greens.

A system of color bands work as a curtain, covering then revealing the segmented programming in three basic themes: movies, series and trends. The flow and rhythm of the pieces reflect the different states of the modern woman: a multifaceted and free one. The concept is reflected in the brand IDs and concept IDs. Typical female images reflecting a clichéd view of women were avoided and as a result an active, casual and modern communication emerged.

Steinbranding used Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and After Effects running on the Mac platform to complete the project.
