THE MILL NY BEGINS SECOND PHASE OF EXPANSION

NEW YORK - The Mill New York's (www.the-mill.com) second phase of expansion begins this month and will include upgrades and installations of more Discreet Flame and Smoke suites. The studio's two existing Spirit suites were upgraded with high definition capabilities at the end of February making the facility fully HD-compatible.
The Mill New York's penthouse area, on the sixth floor of 451 Broadway, will soon house one new Flame and two new Smoke suites. These additions are being implemented specifically to handle what the facility described as "quick turnaround" work. The new suites will be operational by June. Future plans for expansion into the sixth floor include installing a third Spirit telecine suite.
In line with this expansion, The Mill NY's Flame and production teams are also growing. Angela Botta joins the studio from Nice Shoes as a telecine producer. Jo Arghiris moves from The Mill's London headquarters to join New York's production team. And Wesley, formerly with A52, joins the Flame team. |
