TROIKA PROMOTES THOMPSON TO CREATIVE DIRECTOR/DESIGNER HOLLYWOOD, CA - Reid Thompson, lead designer at Troika Design Group (www.troika.tv) has been promoted to creative director/designer. Thompson has been the lead designer on a majority of Troika's distinctive high-profile branding work including the red carpet package for E! Entertainment, Food Network's whimsical ?Story IDs,? UPN's ?It's Time For U,? as well as multifaceted campaigns for ABC, Style, CMT, and the award-winning package for the Los Angeles PBS affiliate, KCET.

Thompson will link his skills as a designer and writer to focus on identity and branding assignments. He will continue to work closely with Troika's partners and executive creative directors Dan Pappalardo and Mark Bohman on strategy and creative. Thompson will maintain his role as a ?hands on designer? now overseeing the design and animation teams on each of his projects.

Prior to joining Troika, Thompson worked for Pittard Sullivan as a designer on NBC, CBS, ABC, FX and many other accounts. His work has earned him BDA Golds, Promax Gold and Silver, Eyes and Ears Europe and Flame Awards. He holds a BA in Art History and Painting from the University of Rochester, New York and attended the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University for Architecture.
