The studio, which opened in February of this year, specializes in character
animation but also offers all aspects of CG production. Ittina currently has
about 120 employees and has grown drastically over the past six months. The
studio and its animation school, Takshaa, are headed by Manu Ittina.
"We reviewed a lot of software and tools for render management and the main
reasons we selected Qube! over other solutions was for its robustness," says
Ittina. "The other major benefit we saw in Qube! over the competition was
that it was very easy to set up and to get working. Our artists were able to
submit and manage jobs within 30 minutes of starting Qube!. There really were
no unnecessarily complex steps required.
"Qube! provides us with an API and a scripting language that helps our technical
team optimize and automate it for our pipeline."
