BELIEF MAKES WAVES FOR CRYSTAL GEYSER
May 22, 2006

Belief created an animatic for live action director Joel Peissig of Galapagos to follow while shooting background plates and the talent against a green screen.  After production wrapped, Belief had three weeks to complete the spot. With the exception of a few stock footage surfing shots, everything is heavily composited, with layers including live action water, CG waves, and ink & paint elements.
The final spot is a tapestry of California sun, surfing and refreshing water. Scenes seamlessly transition into one another as shots of surfer guys and girls hit the waves while enjoying the refreshing taste of Crystal Geyser.

Belief used Apple Final Cut Pro; Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, and Illustrator; Maxon Cinema 4D and Alias Maya to post the spot.
Mike Goedecke served as executive creative director and Gregory Stacy was executive producer. Additional Belief credits included creative directors Rick Gledhill and Marcelo Petrella and designers/animators Josh Lewis and Trevor Shepard.
