BOXX INTRODUCES NEW MOBILE WORKSTATION

AUSTIN, TX – Boxx Technologies (www.boxtech.com) has introduced a new version of its mobile, high-performance workstation. The GoBoxx 1400 is now powered by AMD’s Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core processors and includes a 17-inch, 1680x1050 WSXGA+ GlassView type active matrix display offering super-wide viewing angles.

The GoBoxx 1400 is configured with an Nvidia Quadro with PCI-Express graphics card with OpenGL and 256MB of video memory. The mobile workstation also includes dual HDD support with RAID 0 and 1 (Serial ATA or IDE Dual Smart Bay Optical Drives); dual-channel DDR2 memory, for maximum memory bandwidth; and two DIMM slots supporting up to 2GB memory.

A full-size keyboard with numeric keypad with built-in touchpad provides a familiar interface, and a built-in 1.3 megapixel camera allows users to capture digital imagery. The unit is also configured for wireless networking functionality.
