LOS ANGELES - Longform post house Post Logic Studios (www.postlogic.com) recently hired marketing executive and digital intermediate producer Carrie Holecek for the newly-created position of VP of business development. Holecek comes to Post Logic from Company 3, where she was executive producer of the features department. There, she oversaw all aspects of digital post - from HD dailies, HD mastering and previews to DI and D-Cinema.
Prior to her time at Company 3, she was director of marketing & sales, as well as producer, at Technicolor. Her DI credits during this time included Rumor Has It, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Valiant, The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, Fahrenheit 9/11, and Looney Tunes: Back in Action. Holecek also served as a producer at Efilm.
In her new role at Post Logic, Holecek will have oversight of the company's sales and marketing activities. Her responsibilities will also extend to the studio's digital production workflow and client relationships and services.
Over the past six months Post Logic has invested several million dollars to build a high performance digital intermediate pipeline, implementing Spirit 4K and Northlight film scanners, Arrilaser film recorders, Barco 2K film projector and Bright Systems storage area network (SAN) capable of handling the data-intensive workflow of multiple 4K DI projects.
