DVPA LAUNCHES ONLINE ADOBE PRODUCTION STUDIO RESOURCE CENTER
January 19, 2006

The Adobe Production Studio combines full new versions of Adobe's video and graphics applications - After Effects 7.0, Premiere Pro 2.0, Audition 2.0, Encore 2.0, and the latest versions of Photoshop CS2 and Illustrator CS2 - with time-saving innovations such as Adobe Dynamic Link that deliver a highly efficient workflow experience. Adobe Production Studio also integrates Flash Video (FLV) export capabilities to provide video professionals with a new, fluid method of delivering content to the Web using this Web video standard.

The DVPA Adobe Production Studio Resource Center, a new sub-site, lists the new features of each of the individual products in the production studio, explains many of the new enhancements to each application, answers the most frequently asked questions, and supplies numerous colorful screenshots and a number of basic tutorials to get users up to speed on the
new release as quickly as possible on the Web. In the days and weeks to come, the DVPA will be adding tutorials and podcasts for these specific new versions of the products.

"The DVPA is pleased to host this central resource center to enhance the technical understanding of our association members and the digital video community at large," says Rod Harlan, executive director of the DVPA. "The new Adobe Production Studio promises to deliver new power and workflow efficiencies and an understanding of this post production technology will help professionals remain up-to-date and competitive. We especially appreciate the assistance from Adobe and several key association members and staff who contributed their valuable expertise to launch this much needed resource center in such a timely manner."
