EDITORIAL & FX HOUSE 'BOND' OPENS

Bond is set up to handle editing, motion design and post production for TV, cell phones, podcasts, global work and interactive projects.

Jamie Dumaine comes onboard as fulltime sales rep at Bond. She was previously at Schafler’s Artists Management and before that at RSA in production and sales. Additional editors will be added in the weeks to come.

The three Avid edit rooms at Bond are equipped to handle both offline and online work. The Symphony Nitris and Adrenaline rooms can handle high definition and standard definition projects. And Avid Xpress Pro system with Mojo is also available for SD work.

Graphics are provided via Autodesk Discreet Flame and a Mac workstation. Additional in-house applications include Adobe After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator; Apple Motion and DVD Studio Pro; and Autodesk Maya and Combustion. And Avid Unity networked storage can be accessed from any of the rooms.

Down the hall from Bond is sister company Sound and Vision, a two-room audio facility. Audio 1 at Sound and Vision features an AMS Neve AudioFile workstation and a Yamaha console. Audio 2 is based around a Digidesign Pro Tools|HD system. Both rooms have the ability to do remote/patch/satellite ISDN recording and thousands of sound effects and music tracks can be accessed through the SoundMiner library search tool.
