These advancements also provide complete color control within Fusion 5.

The updated release offers the ability to write 32-bit float files to the RLA/RPF formats and features added support for the Plateau tangents introduced in Maya 7.0. Fusion 5.02 has new enhanced optimization tools that affect all blur-based tools and functions, improving performance by as much as 30 percent. Affected tools include Blur, Glow, Soft Glow, Remove Noise, all masks, and all keying tools. Other new enhancements include several scripts and support for various Cineon and DPX headers.

Pricing of Fusion starts with the DFX+ video version, which costs $1,295. The film version ranges from $2,995 to $4,995 based on order quantities.
