Velez, a native of Puerto Rico, joined the Optimus staff in 2001 as an intern.
In 2002, she was named librarian and then was promoted to assistant editor six
months later. She has worked on projects for Aveeno, Bally Total Fitness and
Cricket Wireless.
Amore brings seven years of experience to his new role. He spent two years at
Finale Editworks in Vancouver before moving to Los Angeles. After stints with
Superior Assembly and Spot Welders LA, he joined Optimus in 2005. He has worked
with clients such as Young and Rubicam Irvine, Ayzenberg Group, Ampersand
Productions, November Films, and Dailey and Associates.
The promotions bring Optimus's (optimus.com) editorial roster to 12.
