PARAGON TAKES FIRST C300 CONSOLE IN U.S.

Paragon’s C300 will be installed in May and will be configured with 40 faders and 128 inputs. The C300 provides direct control of all workstations found in the post production process, along with an ergonomic control surface, full monitoring and machine control. High-resolution TFTs display routing and processing information. Up to four workstations can be controlled simultaneously via the console.

Upgrading the digital audio workstation-based Studio B was a necessity, says Paragon Studios owner and president Fred Paragano (pictured). “We’ve been talking with SSL for quite awhile about a console that would meet our needs. I went over to England, was very impressed with what I saw, and made the decision.”

Paragon has an 80-frame SSL XL 9000 K Series console in its Studio A.
