Who Stole Santa's Sack? will feature the voices of Kathy Bates, Ed Asner, Shirley Jones, Andy Griffith, Norm Macdonald, Brad Garrett, Colin Ford and Daniel Roebuck. Jay Leno will narrate the film.

Renegade's Darrell Van Citters will serve as animation director, Ashley Postlewaite is animation executive producer and Mike Giaimo is production designer. The film is the first feature for Renegade Animation, which is best known as the producer of the popular Cartoon Network series Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi.

Robert Zappia will direct from his script based on a childhood story told by his father. Zappia wrote for the television series Home Improvement and is the writer and executive producer of the SciFi Network original miniseries 5ive Days to Midnight.
