ROOM POSTS ROB ZOMBIE'S 'FOXY FOXY' VIDEO
March 16, 2006

Room editor Jeff Selis provided creative editorial for the project and Avid|DS artist Bill Pollock handled visual effects and online finishing, with Jason Barager producing.

Both Selis and Pollock have collaborated with Zombie in the past. The team posted videos from his 1998 record, "Hellbilly Deluxe," as well from 2001’s "Sinister Urges" release.
Zombie was very involved during the post process, says Selis, even sitting in during the sessions, which took place over the course of a week. The video was shot by cinematographer Phil Parmet, with whom Zombie worked on 2005 horror/action feature, The Devil’s Rejects, and takes inspiration from the 1970 documentary Woodstock, which captured the live outdoor performances bands playing the legendary event.

Foxy Foxy runs a little over three minutes and was culled from more than three hours of 35mm footage. Selis worked on one of the studio’s Avid Meridan NLEs to cut the project. Online editor

Pollock then worked with Zombie on the color correction and visual effects using DS.
