STAFF CHANGES AT AUDIO HOUSE CRESCENDO!

Shotland and Leahy sold Crescendo! to Laurence Hyman in 2003.McSherry-Martinez has joined Talking House Productions (www.thpro.com) in San Francisco where she will serve as the music production company and record label's director of operations, overseeing the facility's three studio complex. The move reunites her with Leahy, who is a consultant for Talking House.

McSherry-Martinez (left) was the director of operations for Crescendo! and its predecessor, Russian Hill Recording, for 16 years. Replacing her as director of operations at Crescendo! is Jason J. Plunkett (center). Plunkett has been a member of the Crescendo! staff since 1999, beginning as an intern and later becoming receptionist, scheduler and studio manager. 

As director of operations he will supervise and continue to expand all facets of the daily workings of the recording and mixing facility.Plunkett will also oversee Crescendo's sound design division, Resonante, and Voice Talent Casting, a new division at the facility offering an online database of San Francisco Bay Area voice actors, and casting services for producers and other clients. 

Also promoted at Crescendo! is McKell A. Smith (right), who will assume the position of scheduler. Smith has been with Crescendo! since 2003, when he started as an intern. He was quickly hired as concierge, then CMR technician, and most recently served as assistant engineer.
