TAMARA ZIMMERMAN TO LEAD FIRSTBORN'S L.A. CREATIVE TEAM

Zimmerman was born and raised in Argentina. There, she studied graphic design before moving to Barcelona, Spain in 2000. She freelanced for a couple of months before being hired at Lamosca, where she spent three years. She moved to the US in 2003 and signed on as senior graphic designer/director of interactive design at Moore Moscowitz in Brookline, MA. In 2004, Zimmerman came to Los Angeles, where she was asked to participate in the design of the graduation print materials for Pasadena?s Art Center College of Design.

"It was an honor to have such a distinguished institution solicit my ideas," she noted. Zimmerman stayed on in Los Angeles, working through larger firms to garner freelance assignments with numerous high-profile clients, including Panasonic, Hallmark, and Target.

In 2005 she opened her own company, Loyal, and brought on a full-time programmer. However, the breadth and scope of Firstborn's work for Victoria's Secret, Target, KPF, Atlantis, and others interested her, and once Firstborn opened its LA office, she decided to make the transition.
