822 DIGITAL MARKS FIRST YEAR WITH STUDIO EXPANSION

The company is currently marketing a number of titles for PS3 and Xbox 360, and is creating a series of downloadable :60 game trailers for Sierra Online HD games for distribution on Xbox Live Marketplace.Rodriguez is lead editor and digital artist at the agency, which works exclusively in HD. The recent expansion includes the addition of an HD production team, featuring director Steven Readmond. 822 has also added four HD (720p/1080p) edit bays and two capture stations.

822 Digital is equipped with Apple MacPro Dual-Core Intel Xeon computers, outfitted with AJA Kona 3 cards. The studio uses Apple's Final Cut Studio package along with Adobe's After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator for title graphics. Cinema 4D and Invigorator are used for creating 3D titles.

Coinciding with 822's move into upgraded quarters, the studio has hired Lauren Faccidomo as director of business. Faccidomo brings 11 years of marketing experience in the video game business and entertainment industry. Prior to joining 822, Faccidomo did stints with Capcom Interactive, Sony Mobile Games, Vivendi Universal Games, Mattel Interactive and Rock Star Games.
