MicPort Pro is a low-noise USB microphone preamp that offers
24-bit/96kHz performance, 48v phantom power, headphone output and zero latency
monitoring. The company sees it as a simple solution for recording vocals,
overdubs, podcasts or interviews in the field or in a studio.
The unit uses a low-noise, Class A microphone with a balanced
signal path and a fully-shielded design. No batteries or drivers are required
for installation. The MicPort Pro works with Windows XP/Vista and Mac OS X
operating systems.
MicPort Pro is now shipping and CEntrance will soon release
a similar model with a ¼ jack for recording electric and bass guitars.
