ANIMATION LAB BEEFS UP 'WILD BUNCH' TEAM

Joining the film’s director Alex Williams and producer Jim Ballantine in the studio’s Jerusalem headquarters are Barry Cook (Mulan, Beauty  & The Beast, Little Mermaid), Daniel Cacouault (Shrek, Corpse Bride, Road To El Dorado), Woody Woodman (Mulan, Lilo & Stitch, Brother Bear), Monty Kimball (Shrek I & II, The Simpsons,, Antz) Dan Forte (A Day Without A Mexican, Bee Movie, Shark Tale, Stuart Little, Flushed Away) and Louis-Philip Vermette (Legend Of Secret Pass). In addition, Barry Jackson (Shrek, How The Grinch Stole Christmas, Ant Bully) worked from the US on behalf of the film, where he developed many of the initial character designs.

“Together these individuals have contributed to the development of some of the entertainment industry’s most successful animated films,” said the film’s executive producer Douglas Wood. Added Weinerman, “We believe their collective passion and combined talent will thrive in the environment we’ve established and that it will be represented in the creative work being produced in the film.”

The Wild Bunch is based on a script by writer Philip LaZebnik and is a comedic adventure dealing with the topic of genetically modified crops. Evil cornstalks attack a group of common wildflowers that are determined to defend their meadow.
