“We knew that color correction was an area we needed to grow and out of all the
systems we looked at, Quantel’s Pablo was the most impressive,” says Pat Nagy,
director of post production services at Atlantic Video. “All the systems out
there are capable of doing color correction but Quantel stood out for its background
rendering capabilities that allow the user to see the color correction
essentially in realtime, and its ability to work with any resolution on the
timeline and deliver whatever format the client desires.”
Pablo HD has an editing, effects and versioning toolset built into it, which is
helpful in the event of last-minute changes.
“The client loves it and after we do the Pablo work and need
to make other adjustments we don’t have to take the material to another room to
