In
addition to presiding over the re-mastered visual effects for the original Star
Trek series for Paramount Television, he
was also the VFX producer for ESPN's original series The Bronx is
Burning.
Press is a film school graduate with a degree from Emerson
College in Boston. The camera department was his first stop in the film
business, and upon moving to LA, Press got involved in the world of commercial
production, later becoming a line producer.
He discovered that he had an affinity for visual effects,
and in 1997 began to specialize in the production side of VFX, producing
commercials, promos, network image campaigns and music videos along the way.
At Beau, Press is currently working on a BMW X-Drive spot
for Interone/Shanghai China. The spot features a fully-CG X5 and environment to
highlight the BMW X-Drive drive-train.
