BOMBASTIC TEAMS WITH VH1 ON 'DIANA' PACKAGE

The show open focuses on a white rose, representing the princess. As it blooms and floats along a stream it triggers growth and beauty all around it. The stream comes full circle, and when the camera pulls back to an aerial shot, viewers see it actually forms the "D" in her signature.

Bombastic creative director Jamie Slomski says VH1 had a specific vision for the overall project, but let the studio provide creative input.

In addition to the flower-themed show open, Bombastic designed on-air elements for the broadcast of the concert. The emphasis for these was a clean and simple design that reflected both the concert's logo and the blue color that is prominent in the water. The package was created using Autodesk Maya and Adobe After Effects. It was delivered in HD PAL.

In addition to Slomski, Bombastic credits include designer/VFX artist Chris Uhrich and producer Brian Friel.
