Main’s
background encompasses a range of production and post production experience
that began at Seattle’s Alpha Cine Laboratory. During her tenure she helped
build the company’s client base from regional to national productions. As head
of sales, Main also landed a number of studio productions shooting on location
in the Pacific Northwest. She was ultimately promoted to president of Alpha
Cine.
In 1996, Main launched her own company, consulting on post
production matters and developing film projects. During the growth years of
IFP/West in the 1990s (now Film Independent), she served as the non-profit’s
president and chaired the Independent Spirit Awards.
